Institute for International Public Policy
The
Institute for International Public Policy (IIPP) is funded
by the U.S. Department of Education. Its purpose is to address
the national need to cultivate a diverse talent pool of well-trained
and language-proficient professionals.
The program represents a collaborative effort between the
HSF Institute, the United Negro College Fund Special Programs
(UNCFSP), and the Association of Professional Schools of International
Affairs (APSIA).
The IIPP Fellowship program provides students from underrepresented
minority groups with specially designed education and training
experiences critical to entry and advancement in international
affairs careers. Students are recruited from across the nation
and apply as sophomores to participate in a five-year sequence
of summer policy institutes, study abroad, intensive language
training, and graduate study.
