Relationship to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund

The Institute is an independent subsidiary of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. While the two organizations collaborate to secure opportunities to advance Latino education, the Institute has its own 501(c)(3) designation and board of directors. The link between the two is that the HSF board of directors elects the board of directors for the Institute. Also, the President and CEO of HSF serves as the chair of the board for the Institute.
