An integral part of the Institute’s mission is to seek to increase the numbers of Latinos in the federal workforce. While Hispanics represent 12.8 percent of the Civilian Labor Force, Hispanic representation in the federal workforce is only 7.6 percent. For more information on Latinos and other minorities within the federal workforce see: http://www.opm.gov/feorpreports/2006/feorp2006.pdf
To help in your career search, we’ve included links to the HSF Career Center designed to assist HSF/HSFI scholars in their job search.
We’ve also provided the link to USA Jobs where all available federal jobs are listed. The federal government offers positions in practically every field and throughout the United States and its territories. One does not have to work in Washington, DC to work for the government.
Included is a link to an allied organization’s website that offers assistance in finding specific federal jobs and offers a primer on how to apply for a federal position. |
